Terms of service for Salesbot.cz

These general terms of service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the legal relationship between the operator of the Salesbot.cz platform — Sales Robots s.r.o. (Company ID: 09586563, Generála Šišky 2082/26, 143 00 Prague; hereinafter "Operator") — and the user of this platform (hereinafter "User"). The contractual relationship is governed by Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Czech Civil Code, and other applicable Czech legal regulations. These Terms primarily apply to contractual relationships between businesses (B2B), where extended consumer protection rules do not apply.

Salesbot.cz service

The Salesbot.cz platform enables Users to automate selected activities on LinkedIn (e.g. sending messages, publishing posts, or reading messages) via the Unipile service (unofficial access to LinkedIn, not the official API). The User acknowledges that:

  • the Salesbot.cz platform uses third-party data (LinkedIn) and LinkedIn's operating rules may change at any time without notice;
  • Salesbot.cz is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn and LinkedIn does not cooperate with the Operator;
  • using the Salesbot.cz platform may violate LinkedIn's terms of service (e.g. the prohibition on using bots) and the User uses it solely at their own risk;
  • LinkedIn reserves the right to restrict or block a user account upon detection of undesirable automated activity (including temporary restrictions or permanent account blocking).

User rights and obligations

The User is obliged to use the Salesbot.cz platform in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws (in particular LinkedIn's rules). The User is solely responsible for their activities and LinkedIn accounts.

If a LinkedIn account is temporarily restricted or blocked in connection with the use of Salesbot.cz, the User remains responsible for how their account is used. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for damage or loss (including lost profit, data loss or reputational harm) resulting from actions taken by LinkedIn or other third parties.

The User acknowledges that the Operator provides no warranty as to the result of using the platform and that service operation may be interrupted for technical or operational reasons (e.g. system maintenance, changes in LinkedIn's interface).

Operator liability

The Operator provides the Salesbot.cz service "as is", without any warranties as to results or trouble-free operation in relation to LinkedIn.

The Operator is not liable for:

  • damages caused by technical errors, outages or unavailability of the service;
  • damages caused by activities of LinkedIn or other third parties (e.g. account restrictions or changes in LinkedIn's terms);
  • direct or indirect damage to the extent liability may be limited by law (e.g. data loss, lost profit or lost business opportunities).

In B2B relationships the parties may, within the limits permitted by law, exclude liability under the Civil Code; however, such exclusion does not apply to cases of willful misconduct and gross negligence.

Personal data protection

The Operator processes Users' personal data in accordance with applicable legislation (EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing).

The Operator acts as controller for user account, billing and service communication data. For third-party data entered by the User or obtained on its instructions, including from LinkedIn, public registers or company websites, the Operator acts as processor for the User.

Information about the Operator's processing in its separate controller role is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Processing of third-party data is governed by the Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms part of these Terms and is accepted separately by the User at registration or by later confirmation in the application. The DPA prevails on processing matters. The User is responsible for the legal basis for collecting data and contacting people.

Reading company websites

On the User's instruction (mainly through the MCP tool read_company_website), the service can read the public pages of a specific company's website and turn them into a short company profile with source URLs. These rules apply:

  • Only pages on the website the User names are read (the same host, with or without www) – the homepage and at most three standard pages (contact, about, services). The site is not crawled further and is not stored as a whole.
  • As contacts, only generic company e-mail addresses (e.g. info@, sales@) are returned. Personal e-mail addresses and phone numbers are masked in the text extract, and no employee lists are collected. Names that are part of the ordinary page text may remain in the extract.
  • The service identifies itself as SalesbotBot and honours robots.txt, noindex and noai markings and machine-readable text and data mining (TDM) reservations. If robots.txt cannot be checked, the site is not read. It does not work around logins, CAPTCHAs, blocks or paywalls and reads only publicly reachable addresses. We do not treat permission in robots.txt as consent beyond these rules.
  • The limit is 60 website reads per account per day. Results are kept only in the User's account, if the User saves them there.
  • A found address is not consent to be contacted. The User is responsible for whether and how they contact the company, in line with the law (in particular on commercial communications and data protection).
  • A website owner can stop the reading of their domain in robots.txt (User-agent: SalesbotBot) or by e-mail to info@salesbot.cz; we then block the domain for all Users.

Data Processing Agreement

The full terms for processing personal data on the User's behalf, including the required GDPR Article 28 annexes, are in the separate DPA. Acceptance of a new version is recorded in the application; mere publication on the website does not replace it.

Business registry data and records added by the User

  • On the User's instruction the service can add public data from the Czech business registry ARES (Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic) to a CRM company: company ID (IČO), legal form, registered and main activities, employee size category, registered office and founding date. On the User's explicit instruction the service also takes the people registered for the company in the public business registry (statutory body, supervisory board, procurators) – only name, role, body and the source with a date. Date of birth, home address and other personal details are never stored. For sole traders the business name may also be a person's name.
  • The limit is 60 registry lookups per account per day.
  • Activities registered in the registry may not match what the company actually does; they are indicative only.
  • Public availability is not consent to be contacted. The User, as controller, is responsible for any further use of names of people from the registry (in particular the legal basis, informing the person at the latest at first contact and honouring objections).
  • The User can also add companies and contacts to the CRM themselves or through a connected AI assistant, including data obtained outside the service. The User, as the controller of that data, is responsible for obtaining, storing and using it lawfully (in particular the legal basis for processing, informing the people concerned and the rules on commercial communications).

Intellectual property

All rights to the software, design, logos and other content of the Salesbot.cz platform belong to the Operator. The User may use the platform only for their internal needs in accordance with these Terms and must not make it available to third parties.

Content created by the User (e.g. their own message texts or analyses) remains the property of the User, while the Operator uses it only to the extent necessary to operate the service.

Price and payments

The Salesbot.cz service is provided on a monthly or annual subscription basis. The price is set by the pricing on the Salesbot.cz website and is always stated excluding VAT.

Payment is always made in advance (e.g. by invoice or payment card). The service is considered paid at the moment the payment is credited to the Operator's account.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of the selected monthly or annual billing period (at the amount shown in the current pricing) unless the User or the Operator terminates the contract before the end of the current period.

Termination of service

The User may terminate the contract at any time with a one-month notice period ending on the last day of the currently paid period. Termination takes effect only after the paid subscription period expires; the Operator does not provide refunds for the remaining portion of the subscription.

The Operator may terminate the contract in case of a material breach of these Terms or non-payment. The Operator may also immediately block access to the platform if necessary to remedy security incidents or breaches of LinkedIn's rules by the User.

When a paid subscription ends, the User's right to access the paid service ceases. Personal data processed by the Operator on the User's behalf will be returned or erased under the DPA; if no return is requested, production data will be erased within 14 days after the paid subscription ends or an account deletion request is made, unless the law requires retention. Expiry of an unpaid trial alone does not start this period; the privacy policy's retention rules apply to such an account. The User may export available data beforehand. Accounting and tax records are kept for the statutory period.

Final provisions

The contractual relationship arising from these Terms is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in the Czech Republic (the court with jurisdiction at the Operator's registered seat).

Consumer-protection provisions do not apply to the relationship between the Operator and the User (the User acts as a business).

The Operator will announce amendments at least 15 days before they take effect (e.g. by email or notification in the application). Version 2026-10 is effective from 16 October 2026; for existing Users it applies once they accept it in the application. Acceptance of the DPA follows its own rules. Earlier versions remain available in the legal archive. Any deviations may only be agreed in writing.
